It was wonderful spending this morning visiting Milton Keynes Rowing Club based by Caldecotte Lake.
MK is blessed with great lakes, fantastic facilities and an enthusiastic community for rowing and I hope more will join the club. As a rower myself, the sport taught me a love for nature, teamwork and grit.
I also spoke to residents about the recent rain and flooding, which has caused some localised disruptions today.
